I kept waking up to check on my results.

Leading to disappointment.

I know I should learn to be contented even if my results is kinda good.

But still... Not what I aimed for.

Like what everybody says, I'm someone with high expectations.

Especially for those modules I'm good at or the work I'm doing..

Why I'm not happy with my results?

Firstly, Computer Aided Design (HULL).

I've been giving A+ work.

I wasn't expecting just an A. I wanted a AD, distinction.

I was one of the top of my class in this module.

Even my classmate says it is weird why I only get an A.

The worse thing it is not even a A+.

Anyway, I shall forget about that.

Next, it is ShipProductionTechnology.

I got a B?!

I got A+ for common test, for my exam paper, I'm sure I got a A or A+ too.

I screwed up practicals?

Maybe...

What I'm happy for is MarinePractices and StrengthOfMaterials.

MPrac, I expected a C or D. I got a B+!

SOM, I'm happy I got a distinction.

I agree that the last paper screwed everybody up.

For NavalArchitecture2, I'm neutral but I really hoped for a distinction.

I'm still asking myself whether they keyed in the correct results for me...

Ok. Let's not talk about results any more.

You know now it is my school holidays till April 20.

I have been complaining about school, having no time to go out or have fun.

Now it is the holidays, I've been busy working.

Am I committing too many hours?

But my main purpose is to make use of this 7 weeks to earn loads of $.

I need money for lots of things.

I need money for my driving.

I need money for new skates.

I need money for my trip to Australia next year.

I need money for clothes.

I need money for savings.

I better not find a girlfriend at all.

Or else I won't be able to get a lot of things that I want.

Sigh... In a dilemma.

I miss having a girlfriend actually.

The feeling and all.

It feels nice to be able to plan something sweet for her.

It feels nice to cook together.

But... Single for awhile more perhaps?

Oh ya, adding on to my previous post,

I prefer girls who can speak English fluently.

I don't like girls that are too skinny like a skeleton.

I prefer girls who know how to dress well.

I can't think of any other points already...

P.s I failed Calculus. But it was expected.

It's been long since the last time I blogged.

First it was exams, second it was work, third is that I have no mood.

Results will be out next Friday. I hope for 3.5+ for my GPA.

And I pray my dad will give me extra money for good grades? Or sponsor my driving..

I'm planning to register my BTT and whatever I'm suppose to next Monday.

For my dental, I made an appointment for 22 March?

I need to get my braces done.

I think my dad will sponsor that since he is the one asking me to settle it.

I just feel like working the whole of my holidays.

I hope to earn as much as I can.

At least I have savings, at least I am financially stable if I get a girlfriend or whatever..

I just want to have money saved up just in case.

I never like feeling poor. Who does?

Thinking about money... I really regret spending my savings on my ex.

I know she is not to blame but I'm really dumb.

If only the money is still in my account...

I don't think I will be that dumb again.

I will spend a lot on my future girl.

But just not as much as how I spoilt my ex.

Nessya and Elaine were talking to me about the type of girls I suit to be with.

They say I can never have a hot girlfriend.

And when I'm looking for a relationship, I will settle for a forever and ever type.

I have not been hardworking the past few days.

Totally not my fault because the shopping and CNY mood is in!

Got a top and a pair of jeans for CNY. Plus I got a purple tie dye supra!

I should have waited for Skytop2 according to Edmund but CNY is this weekend.

I still need to get a few more things like boxers, socks...

Where is the 'girlfriend' of mine when I need her to shop with me?

Oh I forgot.. I'm still single. :(

Warning!

I got a feeling I might turn moody and all for the whole of February.

It is the stress.

I know it is as it happened before last December for CommonTest.

I'm going to start studying this week. *frowns*

One reason for the early preparation is because I know I will play too much during studybreak.

Which somehow stresses me out as I'm scared I've not enough time.

Another reason is... I'm taking Calculus.

READ: CALCULUS.

Some fucked up mathematics you take in university.

I'm happy if I just get a D.

Seriously, I do not listen in class and I skipped them often recently.

I'm gonna self-study as usual.

When I'm away from the books, I'll make sure I'll let loose every second I have.

Tuesday: Study the whole day for Marine Practice.

Wednesday: Marine Practice Paper + Try to do SOM tutorial 6 + Tutor Melcia Amaths.

Saturday: REST. (CNY shopping? + Reunion Dinner.)

Confusing.

On Tuesday, I bought a shirt from iluma for CNY.

I can't wait to get more money from Dad to get things for CNY.

Alright, it's been long since I blogged and cyberworld is bore.

So here I am to rant my heart out.

School has started again and common test results are back.

Kinda satisfied and I'm glad my hardwork paid off.

I remembered when I was studying for common test, I kept thinking of my dad...

I just did not wanna let him down again for being such a slacker in school.

Maybe 5 weeks later when I'm studying for my exams,

I will think of the future that I will have too?

I need to study well to support my family in many years time...

So my motivation this semester="Daddy+Future."

With "Daddy" as a motivation, I did quite well:)

CAD Hull Design=A+

ShipProductionTech=86/100

StrengthofMaterials=98/100

NavalArchitecture2=100/100

MarinePractice=66/100

Calculus=56/100

I really need to buck up for MarinePractice and Calculus..

But at least I still get higher than cohort average for Calculus.

100% attendance is also gone. I skipped 3 classes alr.

I REALISE I STILL HAVE MY LAB REPORTS TO HAND UP!

Shit...

Maybe I will hand up next week?? Fuck.

And why so?

I can summarize the reason in one sentence:

"I love my Dad to the max."

It seems no link and all but he gave me a surprise early Xmas present.

I got a iPhone 3Gs. A new phone like finally!

Even though I told him before that I don't like iPhone and I preferred a BlackBerry,

I really appreciate that the fact he gave me an iPhone.

It is better than nothing plus it means a lot to me.

COMMON TEST is like OVER!

My friends and I hardly slept during the whole CommonTest week!

I had like almost 4hours sleep everyday since Sunday.

Trying to squeeze every single words from my notes into my brain.

Calculus almost made my whole brain crash.

SPT made me sleep in front of my notes and laptop.

(Side note to self:Never study while lying on the bed.)

I just hope for the best.

And always leaving class in a hurry without realising, making my friends taking it along with them.

My specs and notes are the victims of my forgetfulness.

I wonder what will I do if I lost them?

Especially my SD specs!!!

Am I getting as senile as Ilyana? ^^v

I was just thinking about Christmas and all...

I wondered what's my wishlist.

So... Here we go, I wish for:

-DSLR

-New shoes (About 3 more by end of 2010?)

-More clothes (This will never end. Most importantly, I want more jackets!)

-Car license

-Diving license (My wish since 15years old.)

-A much more toned body

-Wacom Tablet

-MacBook Pro

-A smartphone (Qwerty keypad plus touch screen. I still like HTC Dream.)

-New swimming kit. (Paddles, fins, trunks, goggles, pool buoy...)

-A girlfriend? (Who doesn't wish for that? Or else there would not be a Xmas song called "All I Want for Xmas is You.")

Girlfriend or not, I won't find one till a perfect match passes by.

I don't want another screwed up relationship.

Next two weeks will be tough...

I'm getting lazy.
Or maybe in another perspective, I'm just tired and worn down?
I have stopped doing my sit-ups since last night and today, I'm not planning to do any.
I'm not going gym till after my common test.
One reason is because I need more time to study.

It is like one week plus more to COMMON TEST. (pinch me now please)
CAD Hull Fairing Test is tomorrow.
45mins is very doable for the test right?
(Yes? No? JULIANA!!! Is it doable?)
I just wish to get a distinction for this module.
It will look nicer in my result slip.
Because I already got a distinction for the other CAD module, another distinction in CAD will give me an edge when I go into the marine field.

Enough about studies…
I keep stressing over them.
I saw some really unglam photos of mine and I have deleted them off Facebook.
I better avoid all cameras when they are trying to take a candid shot of me.
Especially when I’m so tired and busy.

I just realise that I have not done any SPT Lab Reports.
I wanna complete everything before common test.
I need to complete revision by next week.
Should I sacrifice gym and just go on a diet till common test is over?
(Since I will overeat during the Xmas period?)

Revision for common test will equal to:
Do all MEL tutorials that will be tested.
Do all tutorials that I have not tried doing.(Calculus!)
Try doing one or two common test papers?
Or at least read through questions and solutions?
Flip the notes and read like a storybook.

Being hardworking is difficult.

Work and back and now on the laptop.
Angela gave me only one shift for the coming weekend but Geraldine helped me. :D
So this coming week I will be working on Friday(6pm-12mn), Saturday(6pm-11pm?) and Sunday(10.30am-18.30am?).
I forgot my schedule so this is just a rough one.

I did not really do much dining for Zoo today.
It was not really a busy day so Nicholas taught me how to scoop, the different items we are selling, how to make shakes, smoothies and hot drinks.
I did quite a number of shakes today.
Not really a pro but I will continue to practice. ^^v

To be honest, working at NightSafari and Zoo gave me a really good impression.
It really drives me to be committed in my work.
It is not as slack as being a lifeguard.
There are colleagues that I could mix with.
And I get to pick up new skills and meet different type of people everyday.
(Hopefully one or two will ask for my number? Just kidding yeah?)

Plans for tomorrow?
Wakeup.
Print some posters for Tuesday's event. One or two.
Head to school.
Lectures as usual.
Maybe I do my Strength of Materials tutorial during break?
Meet HaoXin after he get the Canon supplies.
Head to Jul's house to complete ShipYard Layout Assignment.
Install printer software and test-run.
Head back to Aunt's.
Sit-ups(Push-ups too?) and sleep.

This week for me is tight so I gotta plan things out.
Or else I will forget one or two things.
(I need a personal assistant to take charge of needs and schedule. NOW!)

And I'm Off to Work.

Doing Dining today at the Zoo is not what I'm looking forward to.
Just hope I can exchange with Li Ling and sell beer instead.
She is underage! So... I'm gonna ask Angela. ^^v

Common Test is coming and I have not started any revision.
I'm always busy.
Monday:School+Dinner with Dad.
Tuesday:Event+Maybe out with friends?(I'm gonna change it to revision after this coming week.)
Wednesday:School+Gym+Giving Sis Amaths Tuition.
Thursday:School+Gym+Adobe Club
Friday to Saturday:WORK WORK WORK.(Planning to work NightSafari from 12thDec onwards so I will have more time for studies in the day.)

This week is tight.
I got to handup my ShipProductionTechnology Assignment, Shipyard Layout.
I got to complete my CAD Hull Design Assignment.
I got to manage my event which is happening this Tuesday(two days time!).
I got a CAD Test this Thursday!
I just wanna survive through these ASAP. (Seems doable right?)

I better not screw this semester up.
I promised my Dad I'm gonna buck up in my studies and I'm doing it.
One evidence that I'm working hard=100% attendance for all modules for this semester.
Yeah.. I'm a nerd or whatever but I made a promise.
I just hope my cumulative GPA will be brought back up to 3.50?
(Sometimes I'm just slacking off during lectures. Especially during Calculus. Haha. :S )

Why the new blog?

Maybe it is just the sudden urge or because there is hardly anything to do on the net.

I need to rant at times and Twitter is not my only output.

Recently, I have started work in Ben&Jerry's at the Zoo and NightSafari.

$5.40/hour is not much but it is worth the experience.

The staffs are friendly, plus mostly are teenagers, and I get to work in a ice-cream parlour.

It beats being a lifeguard? However, it is not as slack as sitting by the pool.

I'm going to have an event this coming Tuesday, 1st December 2009.
